Get known

You choose what KnowMe learns by adding files to a single connected folder on your device, allowing the AI to get to know you while keeping your data private and on your computer.

Powerful and private

Powerful. Tell KnowMe what to focus on (like a class project or internship) and it will pick the most relevant experiences and frame them according to preferences of each employer you're interviewing with.

Private. KnowMe lives on your computer, only incorporates insights from your preferred topics, and never shares your stuff. You don't have to micromanage what it knows or worry about your data being stored somewhere else.

FAQ

What does KnowMe know about me? You can share anything you want. We suggest sharing everything that you've spent a lot of time on or at least enjoyed spending time on. This can include notes, research, papers, draft answers, presentations, transcripts, etc. Soon, you will be able to connect your Google and Outlook accounts, too. How it works: When you download KnowMe, you will be prompted to connect to an existing folder. You can create a folder or choose an existing folder you already work out of -- KnowMe will only be able to see the contents of that folder. You can treat this folder like any other folder: add, edit, and organize it however you want. Drag and drop files and folders you already use. And when you delete or remove files from the connected folder, KnowMe forgets about them.

How is my data private? We have specifically picked technologies to keep you in control of what KnowMe can see and how your data is used. 1. You choose what to connect by adding it to a single, connected folder on your desktop. You can treat this folder like any other folder: add, edit, and remove documents. KnowMe can only read this folder. 2. Unlike other services, your files and data are processed on your device (not on our server), so your activities aren't tracked by us.

Not all of my data is relevant It's not! KnowMe intelligently ignores things that aren't relevant and only selects from the highest quality insights from your connected folder. You can also tell KnowMe what to focus by specifically directing it in each message, or by editing KnowMe's memory directly.

Is advice accurate? Yes! Employers tell us what they look for, what has worked in the past, and what candidates should avoid. KnowMe gets to know their preferences and relays advice and guides you accordingly.

How do recommendations to the KnowMe Network work? KnowMe compares your activity (from your connected folder) to employer criteria, only looks for things that boost your candidacy, and ignores everything else. KnowMe runs the analysis on your computer. If you're a match, KnowMe will ask you if you want t connect with the employer. If you explicitly consent, KnowMe will share with that specific employer some basic information that you are comfortable with, like your name and resume. KnowMe is incapable of sharing information without your explicit consent. KnowMe does not notify employers if you're not a good fit, so you can never be worse off.

Why is there no profile page? You can't tailor public profiles to multiple audiences at once. Additionally, profiles, like resumes, miss the behavioral insights that dictate hiring outcomes. KnowMe identifies these insights from your connected sources and determines if you meet a specific employer's criteria.
